Jess was born and raised in San Diego, California. At the age of 15, she discovered her love for art and knew then she wanted to pursue design as a lifelong career. She graduated with honors at San Diego State University where she earned her B.A. in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design.
Not only is Jess a designer, but she is also an entrepreneur. For five years, she co-owned a boutique branding agency and understands the in’s and out’s of running a business, managing teams, problem-solving, and streamlining processes.
Her design philosophy is deeply rooted in purpose, integrity, creative collaboration, and asking the most important question, WHY?
She believes great visual designs can solve problems and positively impact others in a universal way.
On her off time, Jess loves to spend time with her family, eating, running on the weekends, eating again, and getting her butt kicked at the gym — it’s called balance.

For Nelson, it all started at age 13 when a classmate in middle school introduced him to AOL member pages. At age 20, he landed his first career position as a webmaster (do people still use that job title?). He then worked as an HTML email developer, junior web designer, and web designer at various companies.
In July 2013, he attended a web design conference and learned about an up-and-coming web design tool called Webflow. He quickly signed up for the closed beta, and as fate would have it, he was invited into it two weeks later. In 2015, he assumed a role at Webflow as one of their first customer support team members and, after six years, was promoted to senior product evangelist. Two years after that, he decided to venture off on his own to create Pixel Geek LLC.
Even though he’s in his 40s, he still feels like a kid and has many things he wants to do in his lifetime to help serve humans in a positive way.
